  If you are planning a trip to BC it is worth building this into your destination musts. If traveling with your dog, bring them with! People were so kind to Odin and he enjoyed being a part of the plan. However, remember some people are not dog-friendly fanatics so be kind and sensitive. If you love flowers, unique vegetation and maintained gardens a visit here is a must. Photography mandatory. Bring a lunch and eat by the car if you can. The food is good on the premises but probably too pricey for a family of four or more.

  Must visit. Love this beautiful garden. We always visit when we go to Victoria. The most beautiful botanical garden I've visited in the world. It's almost like sensory overload. You are surrounded by beautiful flowers.

  It's a beautiful park full of pretty flowers and gardens, but it didn't blow us away. We have seen the same and better at several free or significantly cheaper parks in Chicago, Vancouver, and Dubai. More people need to know this to make better informed decisions on whether this park is worth the money they are charging for entry (as well as the ridiculous amount you need to pay to reach Victoria from Vancouver).

  I guess you really have to love flowers to enjoy this. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice area, but I don't think it's worth the $34 per person entry fee. If you're a die hard flower/garden fan, then you will probably enjoy this. Otherwise I would suggest just wondering the back streets and parks of Victoria, plenty of beautiful flowers and gardens there for free!

  To fully appreciate Butchart Gardens you have to visit every season. Especially at Christmas. They offer live music, a carousel and the poinsettia room. The grounds have a beautiful light show, fireworks and waterfall. Convenient shuttle services and discount rate for groups, seniors and children. Several shopping and dining options. Wheelchair, baby stroller and umbrella rentals are also available.
